This page explains how Tevekkül and tevekkul.com.tr handle personal data. The Turkish text is the legal original under KVKK; this is a clear summary for other languages.

1. Data controller

The data controller is Neurom Bilişim. The app is developed by Metin Çalışır.

2. Data we collect

Account (optional): name, email, Turkey mobile number, password (hashed). Prayer times, qibla, and hadith work without an account.
Google sign-in: name, email, and ID you allow Google to share. Your Google password is never sent to us.
Session: API token (hashed on device and server), platform (Android/iOS), app version, last seen time.
Location: for prayer times and qibla while the app is open. No background tracking. Precise GPS is used. If you allow it, the last location (full latitude and longitude) is kept so the service can show it. We do not keep a trail. Location is not used for advertising and is not given to the ads SDK or ad partners.
Notifications: OS permission and a Firebase Cloud Messaging device token for prayer reminders and announcements.
Usage events: sign-in, registration, API calls, and hadith/verse views for app statistics.
Advertising (free accounts only): Google AdMob; the device advertising ID is used only with consent. If you decline, only non-personalized ads are shown. Tevekkül Pro loads no ads; prayer and qibla screens have no ads.

3. Purpose and legal basis

We process data to run membership, verify sessions, provide prayer/qibla, send notifications, show ads (with consent), keep the service secure, and meet legal duties. Legal bases: contract, legitimate interest, and consent (location, notifications, tracking/ads, Google sign-in).

4. Cookies

The marketing site mainly serves static content. Required session cookies may be used for admin login. The mobile app has no browser cookies; sessions use an API token.

5. Retention and sharing

Account data is kept while the account is active and for legal retention periods. We do not sell personal data. Location is not shared with ad partners. Hosting, email, notifications (e.g. Firebase), and Google sign-in verification access data only as needed to provide the service.

6. Your rights

Under KVKK art. 11 you may access, correct, delete, restrict, or object. To close an account use in-app Account or [email protected].

7. Children

Tevekkül is not designed for children and does not claim a families-only store program.

8. Independence

Tevekkül is developed independently. Prayer times are calculated on-device. Content is informational; it is not an official translation or fatwa.

9. Changes
